The 2005 convention, the 2nd in the series, will focus on 2 highlights of this year’s space calendar: first the success of the European Huygens mission to Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, and then the Hubble Space Telescope’s 15th year in orbit.
Visitors will be able to admire a scale model of the Huygens probe and shield, as well as stunning photographs from Hubble.

The organizers include CNES, Esa, Nasa and Arianespace. The event will take place over the weekend of 23 and 24 July at Château Saint-Pierre in Auriol, near Marseilles.

Space activities by day and night

The programme includes 2 parts: activities in the “ space village ” during the day, and the “ night of the explorers ” on the Saturday night.

Other exhibits to inspire the imagination will include photographs taken by the Hubble Telescope and weather satellites.
